Why Fit and Confidence Are Never the Same Number
A property can look like a great match and still deserve a lower confidence score.
Two different questions
Property Fit answers 'how well does this property match what you asked for.' Confidence answers a separate question entirely: 'how trustworthy is the data VoyantIQ is using to answer that.'
A property matching every stated requirement based on a 45-day-old listing still deserves a lower confidence score than the same property confirmed by a real visit, even though its Fit hasn't changed at all.
A visit can change both numbers, or just one
When Visit Intelligence records a real onsite finding, like an actual measured square footage that differs from the listing, VoyantIQ updates the property's own data with that observed value. Confidence typically rises, since the information is now fresher and directly observed. Fit can rise, fall, or stay the same, depending on whether the observed value still satisfies your stated requirements.
