What VoyantIQ collects, and what it never does with it.

This page describes VoyantIQ's actual current practices in plain language. It is not a substitute for professional legal review, and it will be replaced by a formal policy before the product handles data at a scale that requires one.

What VoyantIQ Collects

  • Account information you provide when you sign up, such as your name and email address.
  • Trip planning information: who's traveling, what you're looking for, your budget, and the preferences you confirm along the way.
  • Basic technical information needed to operate the service, such as session data and coarse, IP-based location used to suggest a realistic starting point for trip ideas.

How It's Used

  • To power recommendations: understanding your trip, evaluating options, and explaining why something fits.
  • To remember what you've confirmed, such as a stated travel preference, so you're never asked the same thing twice.
  • To operate and improve the product itself.

What VoyantIQ Does Not Do

  • Your data is never sold.
  • Analytics events never carry prompts, AI responses, or other personal or sensitive content.
  • Minors are never identified in analytics, not even as an anonymous flag with no name attached.
  • Session replay masks every form input, along with any saved sensitive content shown as static text.

What You Can See and Correct

  • You can always see what VoyantIQ has learned about your preferences, and correct it. A learned pattern is proposed to you for confirmation, it's never silently treated as fact.
  • If you manage a Travel Circle for family members who don't have their own account, you control what's recorded on their behalf, with the same visibility.

Cookies and Sessions

  • VoyantIQ uses a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a guest workspace cookie if you start planning before creating an account. Neither is used for advertising.
