How VoyantIQ Explains Every Recommendation
Why This Fits is never written after the fact. Here is where it actually comes from.
A recommendation without an explanation is incomplete
Every meaningful recommendation VoyantIQ makes carries a Why This Fits explanation: the factors it weighed, the tradeoffs it made, the constraints it satisfied or missed, and how confident it is in the underlying evidence.
That explanation is never authored separately from the recommendation itself. It is built directly from the same factors VoyantIQ actually evaluated and stored at the moment the recommendation was created, so what you read is always what actually happened, not a plausible-sounding summary written afterward.
Fit, friction, and confidence stay separate
VoyantIQ never derives a recommendation's confidence from how good the option looks, or the other way around. Fit and Friction Score answer 'how good is this option.' Confidence answers a completely different question: 'how good is the evidence behind this answer.'
A recommendation can score well and still carry lower confidence if the underlying information is thin or old. VoyantIQ shows you both numbers so you can judge each on its own terms.
Hard constraints always win
A recommendation that violates a hard requirement you set, like a maximum budget or a minimum number of bedrooms, is ranked below every option that meets it, no matter how attractive its other numbers look. A high score never overrides a requirement you actually stated.
