Understanding Trip Fit Score and Friction Score

Two real, separate numbers behind every VoyantIQ Travel recommendation.

Trip Fit Score

Trip Fit Score measures how well a specific option matches what you actually told VoyantIQ you want: your budget, your dates, your preferences, and anything else you stated. A missing piece of information never counts against a recommendation. It is scored neutrally instead of penalized, since absence of evidence is not evidence of a poor fit.

Friction Score

Friction Score measures the real, practical cost of choosing an option: things like layovers, transfer time, or how far a hotel sits from where you actually want to be. A high Trip Fit Score paired with a high Friction Score is a genuinely different recommendation than one with both numbers low, and VoyantIQ shows you both rather than collapsing them into a single rating.
